Hi, I’m Roz.

A running tab on what my life costs me.
I’ve never been good at answering questions like “So, what do you do?” at social functions. Although there’s this one time someone asked me “So, what do you spend your days on?” –
This whole site is my long answer.
“A Well-Spent Life” is a record of where it all goes – the money, the hours, the attention – and whether it was worth what it took. Not a guide per se. I’m suspicious of guides; they assume there’s one right way to spend a Saturday, or a salary, or your twenties. There isn’t. The person who’d call a slow day at home a waste and the person who’d call it the best day of the month are both right. They just have different priorities in life.
I’m Filipina, building this between a day job in tech and a life that keeps refusing to be optimized. I write about the textures of intentional living, career, money, travel, the small machinery of adulthood, and sometimes just thoughts I’m working out on a page, written at ungodly hours.
I don’t fully know where all of this goes. I didn’t when I started and I still don’t, which used to worry me more than it does now.
Underneath all of it, I’m just here to keep proof: that this life, costly as it’s been, has come out worth the spend.
